1. Situated on the shores of the Colorado River, Big Bend, with its clear, cool waters, offers dramatic views of the river and surrounding mountains. The area offers boating, fishing and swimming, with the amenities of a gaming town just minutes away.
2. Gateway to Alaska. Tok RV Village in Tok, eight miles west of Tetlin Junction, offers 161 wooded, full- and partial-hookup sites, 100 of which are pull-through.

The Tok River is very high this spring. Some of the picnic areas and tent camping areas had water in them, river should go down soon. Highway noise is minimal if you are on the river side of the campground and traffic isn't too bad yet. We'd recommend for an overnight. We camped at Tok River State Recreation Site in a Truck Camper. Tok River State Recreation Site is one of the most remote parks in North America but it is well worth your time. Located on the east bank of the Tok River, the area in and around the park is often the first Alaska town that travelers will venture into after the lengthy drive along the Alaska Highway.
