Dating in nyc sucks, no one wants to stay here! Posted by 1 year ago. However, it seems that dating is difficult and there are a lot of single women in the city. While I do not think I would turn down a great job opportunity to advance my career in NYC, I am nervous about the dating scene, especially considering my other priority is too find a life partner in the next few years. I just moved here. All of my friends have been telling me it will suck for a single gal, especially if you want to settle down. I am 26, never been in.

  1. Dating In Nyc Sucks

I'm 21 (M) graduating this year and moving to NYC to start working. I never had a successful long term relationship (a few short flings) in college and have pretty much given up on college dating at this point with only a few months left. I feel like dating in NYC is not the most pleasant experience, and I'm not the most outgoing, talkative guy, so I'd appreciate any tips on how to meet women.

Some background: I think I'm relatively attractive and have been told so. 6'2', wide shoulders, average to fit depending on how much time I have to work out. Graduating from a prestigious school, will be starting a six-figure job but the workplace will be almost exclusively men. Not to sound braggy but I feel like I fit the mold of a lot women are looking for but I'm fairly introverted so I had trouble meeting women even in a college environment, and I'm a little nervous about the situation getting worse in the real world.
